Bridgwater Play Day

Children in Bridgwater are set for a day of fun and games as St. Matthews Field hosts Playday on Wednesday, July 30, as part of Love Parks Week. The event, organised by Bridgwater Town Council, is free to attend and offers a variety of activities for children and families.

Playday, the UK’s national day for play, has been celebrated since 1987, promoting the importance of play in children’s development and advocating for their right to play. Each year, thousands of children and families participate in events across the country, taking part in activities they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.
