Meet the Artists, Carol Ridout and Ivor Hill

Come along and meet the Artist between 12.00midday and 2.00pm at Bridgwater Arts Centre

Carol & Ivor met at a special needs school in the early 1960s and were reunited 50 years later when Carol’s sister and her husband become carers to Ivor.

Since then, the pair have had a spectacular wedding and shared much joy together as husband and wife, including discovering their distinctive and delightful approach to drawing.

Their exhibition is a celebration of the freedom of expression of these individuals; lively, playful interpretations of animals, musicians, places and still lifes.

Side by side you will see two entirely different artistic styles, by two very different characters who complement and support each other beautifully. Don’t miss this very special exhibition.
