Thrifty Christmas Community Swap Shop & Upcycled Crafts

Eco Centre South West, in partnership with Sedgemoor Community Connector CIC, is inviting local residents to a free community event celebrating reuse, creativity and sustainable living.
The Thrifty Christmas Community Swap Shop takes place on Thursday 27 November, 11am–2pm at the Activity Warehouse, East Quay, Bridgwater.

Visitors are encouraged to bring along clean, unwanted items such as books, decorations, scarves, or small gifts (please no quilts or pillows) and exchange them for something new-to-you at the swap tables.

There will also be free festive upcycling crafts, including folded-book Christmas trees and decoupage jar lanterns made from recycled materials – perfect for creating low-cost handmade decorations.

The Eco Centre team will be on hand to share information about the E-Save App, a free tool helping households save money, cut energy use, and live more sustainably.
